DOS Announces Update to Interview Waiver Policy

DOS announced an update of its interview waiver policy, effective 10/1/25. Most nonimmigrant visa applicants will generally require an in-person interview with a consular officer. This supersedes the Interview Waiver Update of 7/25/25.
