DOS Pauses Visa Operations South Sudan, DRC, and Uganda

DOS announced that, effective 5/18/26,  all visa services are temporarily paused at the U.S. embassies in Juba, South Sudan; Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo; and Kampala, Uganda. DOS states that the pause is due to the ongoing Ebola outbreak.
