ATTACK VICTIMS


1. Posts are encouraged to expedite visa processing for
family members of victims in Tuesdays tragedies.
Applications from those bereaved should be treated with
appropriate humanitarian consideration and concern.

2. Be advised that the Department does not at this time
have a list of foreign national victims. However, press
reports indicate that significant numbers of foreign
nationals are missing as a result of the attacks on the
World Trade Center.

3. Should post have a case concerning an immediate
relative of a victim whose application does not appear to
be clearly approvable, please contact CA/VO/F/P. Depoffs
will try to obtain additional information from US sources
that might help conoffs reach an appropriate decision.
