DOS to Publish Final Rule Amending Regulations for the DV Program

DOS will publish a final rule amending regulations for the Diversity Immigrant Visa (DV) Program. Petitioners will be required to submit unexpired passport information and scans with their entry forms. The rule also amends regulatory language, including replacing "gender" with "sex” and “age” with “date of birth.” The stated purpose of the rule is to combat fraud and improve program integrity.
