Employer Compliance, Temporary Protected Status & Deferred Enforced Departure
E-Verify announced that Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Venezuela will remain in effect in light of the 3/31/25 order from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California “until DHS obtains relief from that order.” Further, the validity of EADs with a Card Expires date of 9/10/25, 4/2/25, 3/10/24, or 9/9/22 issued under the Venezuela TPS designations are similarly extended through 4/2/26, pending further litigation.
