EOIR Posts Notice Regarding Rejection of Motions Filed on EOIR-26 Forms

Effective Monday, February 7, 2005, the Clerk's Office will begin rejecting motions that are filed on a Notice of Appeal (Form EOIR 26). This practice is unauthorized under the Board's Practice Manual. (See Chapters 3.3(d)(ii) and 5.2(b).) Please refer to Chapter 3 of the Practice Manual for general filing instructions and Chapter 5 for specific instructions relating to motions.
