EOIR Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to restore the regulatory text to reflect procedures that were in place prior to the previous administration’s enjoined December 2020 final rule “Appellate Procedures and Decisional Finality in Immigration Proceedings; Administrative Closure.” Given the injunction, the proposed regulatory language largely reflects the currently operative status quo.
