EOIR to Issue IFR Amending Appellate Procedures for the BIA

EOIR will issue an interim final rule and comment request on appellate procedures for the BIA. Notably, the rule will shorten the deadline to appeal from 30 to 10 days and make reviewing cases on the merits discretionary. An advance copy of the IFR, to be published in the Federal Register on 2/6/26, is available.
