Federal Court Orders Agricultural Employer to Pay $427K in Wages, Fines for H-2A Violations
A federal court has ordered Grimmway Enterprises Inc., a major agricultural employer, to pay $427,456 in back wages and penalties after a DOL investigation determined H-2A workers and corresponding U.S. workers were underpaid and subjected to unsafe housing conditions and transportation.
