On December 5, 2019, Rep. Donna Shalala (D-FL) introduced the House companion version of the Resolving Extended Limbo for Immigrant Employees and Families Act or the RELIEF Act, which would eliminate the family- and employment-based green card backlog within five years. AILA endorses this bill.
