INS Issues Employment Authorization Documents
For Hondurans and Nicaraguans Who Have Re-registered
For Temporary Protected Status

Hondurans and Nicaraguans who have re-registered for TPS but who have not received a renewal EAD from INS by December 5, 2000, and believe they should have received a renewal EAD, are encouraged to contact the INS National Customer Service Center at its toll free number —(800) 375-5283—Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

INS advises employers with questions and concerns regarding EADs and the employment eligibility verification process (Form I-9 process) to contact the INS Office of Business Liaison Employer information number at 1-800-357-2099.
