Senator McCain Introduces the Border Security Enforcement Act of 2010
On 5/7/10, Senator McCain (R-AZ) introduced the Border Security Enforcement Act of 2010 (S.3332). The legislation builds off the Kyl/McCain 10-Point Plan to Better Secure the US-Mexico Border In Arizona, and among other things calls for National Guard troops to be deployed to the Arizona border until the Governor certifies that "operation control" has been achieved.
