OFLC Issues Technical Release Notes for the OEWS Update for 7/26-6/27 Wage Year
The Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC) posted the following announcement:
June 29, 2026. OFLC Issues Technical Release Notes for the Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics Update for the July 2026 through June 2027 Wage Year
The Office of Foreign Labor Certification has published the latest prevailing wage data from the Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS) as generated by the Bureau of Labor Statistics for the new wage year from July 2026 through June 2027. These wages are effective on July 1, 2026. Prevailing wage determinations issued from the National Prevailing Wage Center reflect the 2018 SOC codes.
O*NET’s most recent release (30.3) combines occupations from Job Zone 1 and Job Zone 2 into a consolidated Job Zone 1-2. If a Job Zone 1-2 occupation fell within Job Zone 1 or Job Zone 2 during the previous wage year (Wage Year 2025-26), OFLC will continue to apply the same Job Zone used during Wage Year 2025-26. If a Job Zone 1-2 occupation fell within Job Zone 3 during Wage Year 2025-26, OFLC will apply Job Zone 2 to that occupation.
