OSC Seeks Stakeholder Input for I-9 Self-Audit Guidance
As a follow-up to a recent stakeholder engagement, OSC has asked AILA to provide feedback on issues that members would like to see included in the agency’s forthcoming guidance on I-9 self-audits. Before finalizing its guidance, OSC would like to receive as much input as possible from AILA and other stakeholders regarding concerns about the I-9 self-audit process from the perspective of both employers and employees.
If you or your clients have any comments or questions regarding I-9 self-audits that you would like OSC to consider in formulating its guidance, please submit them directly to OSC at OSC.Engagement@usdoj.gov.
The deadline for submission of comments to OSC is November 9, 2012.
