SAVE and E-Verify Updates for EAD Extensions for TPS Recipients

SAVE and E-Verify issued updates related to automatic EAD extensions for current TPS holders. The updates state if an EAD renewal application was pending on or filed after 7/22/25 but before 10/30/25, the automatic extension is limited to 1 year or the duration of the TPS designation, whichever is shorter. If an applicant’s Form I-797C receipt notice has a receive date of 7/21/25 or before, the 540-day automatic extension applies.
