SAVE and E-Verify Updates on Temporary Protected Status for Haiti

SAVE and E-Verify issued updates on the impact of a 2/2/26 court order in Lesly Miot v. Trump staying the termination of TPS for Haiti, which was set for 2/3/26. TPS Haiti beneficiaries will keep their status and employment authorization, and category A12 and C19 EADs remain valid and are extended. This guidance replaces the ones issued 2/14/26.

E-Verify requests Haitian TPS recipients with EADs with original expiration dates of February 3, 2026, August 3, 2025, August 3, 2024, June 30, 2024, February 3, 2023, December 31, 2022, October 4, 2021, January 4, 2021, January 2, 2020, July 22, 2019, January 22, 2018, or July 22, 2017, that were extended due to the court order to write in the expiration date fields "as per court order" in Section 1 and "March 27, 2026" in Section 2 of the I-9 form if applicable.
