SAVE Releases Update on Temporary Protected Status for South Sudan

Employer Compliance, Temporary Protected Status & Deferred Enforced Departure
SAVE issued an update as a result of the court order in African Communities Together et al. v. Noem et al. staying the termination of TPS for South Sudan, which was set for 1/5/26. TPS South Sudan beneficiaries will keep their status and employment authorization, and category A12 and C19 EADs remain valid and are extended.
