SCOTUS Upholds Birthright Citizenship for Children of Undocumented or Temporarily Present Immigrants
In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court struck down Executive Order 14160, holding that children born in the U.S. to parents “unlawfully or temporarily present” are subject to U.S. jurisdiction and citizens at birth under the 14th Amendment’s Citizenship Clause. (Trump v. Barbara, 6/30/26)
