On 3/18/15, Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) introduced a resolution (S. Res. 104) to express the sense of the Senate regarding the success of Operation Streamline and the importance of prosecuting first-time illegal border crossers.
Update: On 2/10/16, the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs voted in favor of the resolution in an 8 to 7 vote.
