Take Action: Call on Congress to Restore the CIS Ombudsman’s Capacity and Preserve Oversight of USCIS

The Trump Administration ceased operation of the CIS Ombudsman’s Office in late March ending a 23-year Congressionally mandated oversight office created by the Homeland Security Act of 2002. A new Ombudsman, with no public plan, was placed in office following legal action.
