Texas Governor Deploys 1,000 National Guard Soldiers to Southwest Border

Governor Greg Abbott announced that Texas is sending 1,000 Texas National Guard soldiers to the southwest border. In the past three weeks, 45,000 individuals have been apprehended in Texas crossing the border. Currently 40 to 60 percent of CBP agents are providing humanitarian support at the border.
