USCIS Approved Statutory Limit of 10,000 Petitions for U Visas for FY2013

USCIS alert that it has approved the statutory maximum of 10,000 petitions for U nonimmigrant status for FY2013. USCIS will continue to accept U visa petitions and process them in the order in which they are received, and will resume issuing U visas on 10/1/13, the first day of FY2014.
