USCIS discusses impact of the H-1B Visa Reform Act of 2004, from the Appropriations legislation, on the H-1B process, and notes that $1500 fee applies to H-1Bs filed after 12/8/04 and the $500 "fraud fee" takes effect 3/8/05. Cap exemptions are discussed, including the Conrad 30 medical graduates.
