USCIS Implementing Customer Identity Verification at Field Offices Starting 9/9/13

USCIS alert that on Monday, 9/9/13, USCIS will employ a new verification tool, Customer Identity Verification (CIV), at field offices. CIV will be phased in between 9/9 and 10/21 to customers attending interviews or being issued an immigration benefit. Technical issues delayed the original launch.
