USCIS Requests Comments on Customer Service Addition to Policy Manual

USCIS updated its Policy Manual on August 26, 2014, to include guidance on customer service standards, including information on responding to customer inquiries, NCSC, privacy and confidentiality, customer complaints, SRMTs, reporting allegations of misconduct, expedite requests, and cell phone usage in USCIS offices (AILA Doc. No. 14082640).
USCIS requested comments on this new section of the Policy Manual, due by September 9, 2014. Please send comments to opefeedback@uscis.dhs.gov and be sure to include the following:
- State the title of the relevant volume and section in the subject line of your message;
- Refer to a specific portion of the document;
- Explain the reason for any recommended change; and
- Include data, information, or authority that supports the recommendation.
