DOS Updates Suspension of Visa Issuance to Nationals of Certain Countries to Include Adoption Exception

Effective 1/1/26, DOS fully or partially suspended visa issuance to nationals of 39 countries and individuals with Palestinian travel documents, in line with Presidential Proclamation 10998. This updated announcement includes information on exceptions for children being adopted by U.S. citizens.
