Navigator Program at AC26
Who is it for?
- First time AC attendees (or maybe it has been a while and you want a refresher)
- Newer members (or wanting to increase your activity/involvement)
- Anyone who is interested in meeting immigration law professionals, just like yourself
What is the Navigator Program?
The Navigator Program is comprised of two different events during AC: the AC Navigator Program and the AILA Navigator Program. Although not required in order to participate, if you plan to attend one or both programs please complete the form below for planning purposes.
- The AC Navigator Program will take place on Wednesday, June 17 at 1:30pm until 2:45pm. As a participant, you will get the chance to go table to table to learn more about the various topics you may have questions on regarding AC. Perhaps you are curious to learn more about the professional development tracks and how to prioritize what sessions to take or maybe you’re interested in sharpening your networking skills and building connections – either way, this session is recommended for you. Please check your AC26 app for location and more details.
- The AILA Navigator Program will take place on Thursday, June 18 at 11:45am until 1:15pm. This Navigator Program will focus on opportunities to get connected within the AILA community, both at AC and outside of AC. You’ll have the chance to learn more about AILA’s different communities as well as volunteer opportunities at AILA. You will also hear from members about how and where they got connected, including through AILA’s many practice- and identity-based Interest Groups, Chapter events and positions, and Committee and Board positions, among others. Whether you’re new to AILA or just looking to get more involved, join us on Thursday to learn more and connect with fellow members. Please check your AC26 app for location and more details. A light lunch will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
What are AILA Navigators?
AILA Navigators are experienced Annual Conference attendees who have volunteered to help new attendees make the most out of your AC26 experience.
Navigators are fantastic resources who can answer your questions, connect you to other experienced AILA members and recommend AILA products, resources and services that might be beneficial for your everyday practice.
This program is open to the AILA community including members, nonmembers, law students, paralegals and other support staff.
Please note, while we will do our best to accommodate requests, being connected with a Navigator ahead of the conference is not guaranteed and is dependent on the number of Navigator volunteers. Interested in being a Navigator? Learn more about it here.
