HHS Comment Request on Revisions to Forms for Potential Sponsors of UACs

The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) published a notice requesting comments on revisions to several forms that allow the Unaccompanied Alien Children Bureau to assess the suitability of potential sponsors for unaccompanied children (UACs). Forms subject to revision include the Authorization for Release of Information (Form SAP–2), Sponsor Application (Form SAP–3), Fingerprinting Instructions (Form SAP–7), and Letter of Designation for Care of a Child (Form SAP–9). Note that this information collection was previously titled Family Reunification Application for Sponsors of Unaccompanied Alien Children and has been retitled at the direction of ORR leadership.
