Visa Bulletin for April 2021

DOS posted the March 2021 visa bulletin. In addition to final action dates and dates for filing for family and employment-based petitions, it contains notes on the DV category, DV category rank cut-offs which will apply in April, and an announcement that the DOS YouTube channel (@TravelGov) will begin hosting monthly “Chats with Charlie.” The first chat is scheduled to take place on March 17, 2021, at 1:00 pm (ET). Questions can be emailed to VisaBulletin@state.gov ahead of the event with “Chat with Charlie Question” in the subject line.

On March 22, 2021, USCIS determined that for April 2021, F2A applicants may file using the Final Action Dates chart. Applicants in all other family-sponsored preference categories must use the Dates for Filing chart. Applicants in all employment-based preference categories must use the Final Action Dates chart.
