DOS Final Rule Creates NIV Classifications for Commuter Students
DOS published a final rule creating the two new nonimmigrant visa classifications of F3 and M3 for citizens and residents of Mexico or Canada who seek to commute into the U.S. for the purpose of attending an approved F or M school. The rule became effective on 8/11/03. (68 FR 47460, 8/11/03)

DOL Requests Comments on Proposed Revision of OCR

DOS Designates Displaced Migrants From Cote d'Ivoire as Qualifying For Assistance

DOS Rule Codifies Post-9/11 Policy Change on Waiver of Nonimmigrant Visa Applicant Interviews

Treasury Department Seeks Comments to Final Regulations on Foreign Government-Issued Identification

DOL Availability of $50 Million in H-1B Technical Skills Training Grants
DOL solicited requests and provided guidance for the business-led technical skills training grant funds available under ACWIA.
